I listen to a good variety of music - I am a drummer and Piano was my first instrument. Easier to list what I don't listen to regularly.
Modern "country" = no thanks. 70's and 80's crossover I do like - ex. Jerry Reed, John Denver, Lynn Anderson, Glenn Campbell, Oak Ridge Boys etc...
I have an appreciation for Classical music and Opera but I don't listen to it - ever.
Metallica. Rage against the Machine. Disturbed.
I grew up in the late 70's and 80's so I like "New wave/alternate" ex. New Order, The Cure, The Smiths, Squeeze, Level 42, Swing Out Sister
I also like old rap, and techno - Daft Punk
I like classic Mowtown -Chuck Berry, BB King, Little Richard to name a few... get up on the good foot.
The Cuervo Gold, the fine Colombian make tonight a wonderful thing. - Steeley Dan/Donald Fagan great 70's and early 80's music.
Tupak - California Love
Cameo
This list is about as random as the music I listen to and genuinely can't listen to enough.
Since there are so many rednecks here (I can relate, my dad was an owner operator truck driver... although if you ever saw me, or the part of town I live in, you would have no idea of my midwest/redneck old fashioned bucket of corn upbringing) besides the 60's-early 80's country... this is as close as it gets for me:
