As I've said before..I'm a big Skynyrd fan, I found this gem hidden amongst the other 100 tracks of theirs I have. Everything bout it gives me chills, like Soulshine by the Allman brothers. Just that picking and the bluesy way its sung..just love it. Hopefully someone else will to..enjoy.

Sirscrapalot, where was that Soulshine video from. Looks like the Beacon theater up here in Manhattan. You would be in heaven seeing them here. Place holds just 2600 and they have been doing 10-12 shows there in March for the last 15 years.

Thought it looked familiar...well if you come up next year let me know I will grab you an extra ticket and we can take a ride on the subway to get there. That alone is worth the trip.

I still stand by my opinion that The Student did it better than The Teacher:

Side 'note'... I was at a doggie rescue benefit concert & heard this girl band warming up... they sounded nice, but when they broke into the first few notes of the SRV version, my heart sank, thinking they would totally ruin it. What followed was six-and-a-half minutes of utter bliss. I tell you I unabashedly had tears flowing down my cheeks when I gave them a standing ovation. They DID NOT MISS A SINGLE NOTE.

SVR does rock Little Wing for sure. But it's Hendrix. It had to be posted.

I'd'a thought THIS would be your Dylan choice:

But in the remake vein, Uncle Tupelo knocked that same song out of the park (in all fairness, it wasn't one Dylan himself had written):

Just remember when you're "going platinum" that it's unsafe to "go behind the garage & fire it up" first.

Best thing about Kid Rock...dude doesn't rape his fans at his concerts. no $200 to 600 tickets for him. An the guy can get down with many different styles. Love the Zac Brown/Kid rock verison of Can't you See...an I'd scrap that gold chain of his in a second..lol.

    Now on to the music!

This one..great song..hate the youtube video..but the best I could find.

    Enjoy!

Another of my favorites...even before I lived on a sandbar!

Protip - Where this was filmed is bout 10 minutes from where we used to go in Va for concerts. Jimmy comes every year and and the wife drags me along every year. Mind I don't mind..but still..

An no I didn't film this..as if I could stay sober at a Buffet concert long enough to figure out how to turn a camera on let a lone keep it steady..lol.
