    Heavy Metal I dig...

Megadeath, some Slayer, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Metallica(yes yes I know, not everyone counts them..), an a bunch of others. It's not what I prefer all the time but it does have it's place on my playlist..about 600 songs worth..lol. I love the older bands tho when it comes to it. Though now an then I can get down with some of the newer stuff.

Anyhow, this post is cause Auminer mentioned Rednecks in another one..so..I'm sharing some drinking redneck funk. Yes i just totally went from Megadeath to...country. I like all kinds of music people! Like those orchestra cats that do Pink Floyd covers...freaking awesome. Anyhow..on to the videos!

An one for all the Cooler Puller members..you know who you are, no more rings, we're going with...red solo cups.

I probably posted these before, but...deal with it, it's Auminer's fault for mentioning Toby Keith..funny dude.

Sirscrapalot - The red solo cup made me do it officer..I swear.

Hey... got the chorus wrote for that Toby Keith song from this post: http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/off-t...tml#post194842

We didn’t know we was redneck
Hey, back in them glory days
Dogs run loose and the yard’s a wreck
    Better times & simpler ways

No helmets when we rode our bikes
    Big sedans with vinyl seats
Big bonfires on a cool fall night
Cold iced tea in the summer heat

Man we sure had it good back then
Not much money, but what the heck
Gals was gals & men was men
And we didn’t know we was redneck.

Send it to him and when it's a megahit we'll split the cash & buy a lotta beer!

    Ha ha!

It was all so simple then.

His bar is a lot of fun, if you guys got one near by. Visited the one up in Northern Va back in the early part of the winter. They serve beer in big ass mason jars...what's not to love?

An you got a deal, I know a guy at a radio station who knows Toby, maybe I can bribe him to send it. Ha ha!

Sirscrapalot - Will drink a jar to that.

Ha ha! I know that one!

Here's a couple other fun ones..see people, country is more then just "My dog died, my wife left me, so I'm going to depress you to now.." ha ha!

an come on fellas...we all know we did something similar to impress the ladies while younger..

    Just cause..I like tequila..an it's a fun song..

    Oh I got more..lol.

For a change of pace, an for Mike..

Probably my favorite Slayer song..My hands hurt just listening to them rock the guitar..don't even get me started on trying to play the **** thing on Guitar Hero/Rock Band, let alone for real. lol

Say what you will about the genre..but most of those cats can seriously play the drums an guitar.

Sirscrapalot - Rocking out to the ages.

    Something you've never heard of:

This is Ayreon, an experimental band with guest singer Bruce ****inson from Iron Maiden. He is an amazing singer, Like you've never heard him before on this song.

Cradle Of Filth covering Iron Maiden's Hallowed be thy name: Blows the original out of the water in my opinion. That coming from a huge Maiden fan.

Someone needs to direct mike here. He'll be overjoyed with all these videos. Heh.

    Good choices Parker.

There are some other..crazier acts I enjoy. Lamb of God aka Burn the Priest, heh. An a few others.

An just to keep with the theme.

RIP David Brockie of Gwar. I have a friend who knew them, an a couple of other that were die hard fans. They'd come back from shows covered in all kinds of ..stuff. Heh.

    keep'm coming folks!

Sirscrapalot - Likes it's all from Cash to 2pac, Slayer to that orchestra I can't remember the name of that does Floyd covers.

Nice. I enjoy all music, being a musician myself. I played drums in a SLAYER! cover band. By far, my favorite metal band. Metal drummers cant be beat!

And I played guitar in a country/ hillbilly/ punk band --chunkAdrit--:

The best recording we have on youtube:

Also, I have 5 shirts (covered in ... stuff) from 5 Gwar shows i've been to. RIP Odrorous Maximus

I went to see Gwar play Live once at the old Studio 1 in Newark NJ back in the Early 90s It was like nothing I'd seen before. What a show they put one WOW. Saw MOD, Propain and Cro-Mags live there too right around the same year. Ah the good old days...

I listen to the same music scrapping cars as I do building them

PanterA, MetallicA, Black Label Society, Megadeth, Slayer, Ozzy/Sabbath, Slipknot, Children Of Bodom... If I need a bit of "quieter time" it's Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, AC/DC

OK, so I got ahold of the Billboard Top 100 for every year from 1956-2013... Going through them and sorting the overwhelming junk from the good stuff, and came across this forgotten blast from the past. Takes me back to an interesting time in my life. Funny how we don't know at the time what profound changes we make to our life paths from what seem (at the time) to be small decisions...

Perhaps I should leave this blast in the past? Nah... I'm'a share it:

    EDIT: Wow.... another.
