So, back to Legos. I don't think anyone if investing in Legos rather, they are taking advantage of "arbitrage opportunities" (defined as: "the opportunity to buy an asset at a low price then immediately selling it on a different market for a higher price."). With legos, most of us are buying them and then selling them right away to make a profit. I don't believe people are investing in mixed Legos, hanging onto them for years and years for the hope that they increase in value. Perhaps there are people hanging onto collector legos like the Millenium Falcon but, not mixed legos unless their kids are still playing with them.
Thanks for the post George. I went ahead and looked up some posts on Legos. I hope to try to make some arbitrage profits with Legos sometime soon.
