Each car has 5 tires on it when on the road
so the place I bring my cars to allows 5 tires when I bring it across the scale
I have never had to pay for tire disposal
At this point they are paying me 10 Cents a pound for the tires

My yard pays: CARS WITH TIRES (5 MAX) $205 PER TON, CARS NO TIRES $210 PER TON so yes the rules are different here. I guess its not really a deduction though because of the added weight, i just like the $210 number better and can move 90% of the wheels/tires i get in other ways than selling as shred. The only combo id sell as shred is bald/bad tires on steel wheels, i havnt run into many of those yet.
