That's about how I felt when I spent time in Coffeyville, KS when I did some winter work for Amazon.com. Went from the Washington, DC area to a town with a pop of 5k..lol. Two bars both closed at like 9, closest thing to nightlife was the 24 hour super walmart up in Independence. On pay day I'd treat myself to a trip over to OK to visit some stores, a good meal and a movie. Rest of my time there was spent working or at the campground reading, or working on my company via the net'. Nice thing about it was I saved a whole helluva lot of money not being able to spend it on anything. lol.

I will admit I do enjoy a small town over the big city nowadays. Hell I might just have to visit Coffeyville again for the rodeo.

Sirscrapalot - Glad he's no longer in a big city, and wouldn't go back to one unless he had to.
