I am very very interested in the topic of metal casting. I have been acquiring the pieces of equipment to make a casting furnace over the last 6 months and would love to hear from others with more experience. I have the equipment and experience to be able to scan an object and carve the object in foam and plan on using the lost foam method of casting when I gain some more knowledge on the metal melting/casting part of the equation.
