    I love the "all-in-one" scanner/printers, and they seem to be a dime a dozen on the curbs. They have good boards in them. I pull what I want out of them, then (with the glass removed) slam them onto my concrete floor. BINGO, pull the plastic out, the rest goes in the shred pile. If any of the motors shake loose, then they go in my motor bucket.

    I think I've mentioned it before, but in case I haven't: the rails that the printheads ride on make really good punches. I cut them in half, use them until they're bent up, then off to the shred pile.
