The yard I use doesn't check. I get some HVAC scrap that already is drained (evap coils and compressors) from an AC guy every once in a while and the yard I use doesn't question anything. I'm not condoning the release of freon in the atmosphere, I'm just speaking from when I last got HVAC scrap that was drained properly. Enable private messaging and PM me and Ill tell you which yard.

Please let me know how to enable private messaging...not apparent at all.
