And for some really good advise. Do what ever it takes to get yourself out of the pre-diabetes stage. Change you eating habbits see a doctor who specializes in dibetes(not cheap if you are not covered by insurance). In my experience the regular GP Dr's that I have seen in the past really are not great at diabetes or diet. The effort you put out today you will give you huge rewards in the future. I wish I had done the same years ago to prevent my problems. Mike

I hear ya miked. My mom has diabetes. She had a leg amputated just below the knee a couple years ago.
I have mine pretty well under control. Would help a bunch if I could lose 20lbs. Sucks tho cuz I love to eat and drink beer.
