    SS conduit pipe

so a while ago i ran into a bunch of unidentified SS pipe,
    qty: 135 pieces
    length: 5ft
    dia: 1in

so I took a sample over to a used construction supply store and the guy (owner?) working there told me that it was conduit pipe which is supposed to come in 10ft lengths and becuase it was cut into 5ft lengths, it is now useless and i should just scrap it

on the other hand when i said "well its SS so i should at least get a decent buck for that, right" he was like "nope, just regular steel" and then when i had him put a magnet up to it, he was like "oh, guess your right" which reinforced my thoughts that he doesnt know what hes talking about when he says the pipe is useless

    what do you guys think?

    collecting san joses scrap
