I was selling some body work tools on CL. I guy from Chicago (about an hour from me) said we wanted to buy them for my price of $100. Arranged for him to meet me at my shop. Told him I'd be there from Noon until 9PM. I get a call at 8:30 saying he is on his way and could I wait for him. I told him I'd meet him at the McDonalds down the street. Shows up at 10PM. Says the tools look good, but only wants to pay $80. Said a few choice words, loaded the tools back in my truck and start to leave. He complains that He just came an hour and a half drive and had to get someone to drive him. I told him $120, he just made me waste an hour. Took the $100 when he showed me that was all there was in his wallet. I should have just sent him on his way.
