    I've had good luck selling decent tires to a local auto repair/tire shop. Try the used tire guys or the local non chain repair shops. Some of these places you can work with regardling used but in good condition parts, tires, rims, etc....Getting hooked up with a couple shops can net you some additional cash on this stuff and these guys are getting a bargin on something they know they can use on a job or roll over in the future.

    I think I recall someone saying that they would take their tires on rims to the tire place, have them remove the tire and keep it, and in exchange got the rim back to either scrap or sell.
