    I read somewhere that the 'oddball' keys can be sold to be placed on other keyboards.

    The ones which have certain logos on them, key directions, or city or state abbreviations, or colors etc.

    Just for people who are customizing their keyboards or like their keyboards to be like other keyboards they have had.

    (After edit) just noticed while writing this, I have been 'thanked' exactly 800 times.
