    Aluminum Wheel Tables

My boy works at a tire store and gets wheels for dirt cheap that have been left for dead due to curb rash or being bent. Some of the wheels are nice and can be doctored up to hide the damage, so he has made some end tables that he hopes to sell on Craigslist. The glass came from Craigslist for cheap as well. Might be a good project for some of you guys that get a nice rim here and there.

The first one is a double stack of the same rim.

And the second he welded together a pedestal, painted it, then bolted the rim to it.

I don't know if the ladies would like them or not but they are cool. If you don't mind me asking how much is he going to ask for them? Let us know if they sell or not.

Might want to tell the boy if he comes across a spinner rim he could put a small motor in it an make it spin all the time. That would be cool under glass I would think.

That would be cool PTS, he was also thinking of stashing a light up underneath somewhere so it would light up the glass.

Have him try a black-light underneath somewhere. Get some black-light stickers under the glass. College kids are drawn to black-lights like moths to a bug zapper.
