I know that it's hard to judge from just these photos, but do you think any of this stuff is salvageable as parts or anything more than just scrap metal?

    Thx

I would say that is all scrap from what I can see.

not hardly. looks like most of it's already been halfway through the shredder. What was it before, an abandoned scrap yard? One of the last photos you can see the blade and some tracks of a little dozer, I'd guess he's been digging it all out of somewhere. One main question I'd have is this, IF he already has an offer to bring a rolloff, AND a backhoe to load it, AND give him 50%, WHY would he still be posting a "take it for free" ad for it? I'd suggest approaching that one with eyes wide open

I wouldn't be surprised if the metal grows legs between the time it was posted, and tomorrow morning.

Poster implies he doesn't live there, but will be there tomorrow to clean up.

Most of the time when the posting is FREE SCRAP METAL, its spam.

Contacted the poster and got this clarification:

It's mostly old construction equipment and concrete rubble we are digging up. The former owners were in the construction business and seem to have dumped all their concrete, cinderblock and rubble--along with rebar and scrap metal.

Of course, it's still possible that it's a hoax...

I think it's all scrap metal. It'll take some work but there's money to be made if it's nearby.
If it wasn't for the $ in $crap, it would just be.....

Could be a hoax but I doubt it. Ran his number last night and he also has an ad for cinder block to be hauled away. Cuz people are falling over each other for that stuff...
