    I have no problem recycling brass, but for some reason I have a thing for copper. It is just so pretty. I have a hard time scrapping copper items, other than wire.

    I also like pewter, but have no idea why. It's not like it's particularly shiny or colorful. It just seems to have a nice heft to it.

    I have two old 1930s typewriters that I am saving for no real reason - I find them beautifully sculptural.
