Arrow FNG to scrapping, but I spent 17 years working in IT in the military...

So I have one step up on what and where parts are in computer equipment. I am collecting CRTs (both monitors and TVs) and printers right now because I drive a Miata. Not much room to haul stuff with that. I've done dumpster diving before both at a house and end-of-the-semester trash-it-fests outside dorms and student apartments.

I am wondering what, if any, value car audio equipment have. Looking through the forums, I couldn't find much about kitchen appliances, but I see free ones on CL all the time.

Beyond scrapping, I run a non-prof computer repair service, so not all computer parts get recycled to yards, but are reused to keep folks that cannot afford to pay for such services.

Other than that, I am a disabled OIF combat veteran and have been Navy/Navy Reserve my entire career. Yeah, my longest deployment anywhere was Iraq.

I will have a BGS in Sociology, MIS, and Environmental Science at the end of this summer (2012) and am looking for a Project Manager/Consulting type job in the IT world.

I am an alumnus of Beta Theta Pi and have traveled to nearly every state in the union and more countries than I can count.

    Any questions?
