I think the problem is not what your offering it what your charging.I think i speak for many of us when i say that if we had that kind of money lying around it would be spent on equipment upgrades. storage, wich i for one desparetly need or buying scrap to resell. But not on a website that contains info that WE can find with a little research

Thanks. What do you think would be a fair price? We offer the same things our competitors do for alot less money as it is. I know that we mostly cater to yard owners and 99% of our subscribers are yard owners. Maybe I could put together custom packages for different types of customers. Is there anything you guys need but dont have? We are always adding functions and constantly develop new ideas for the website. I appreciate your advice.

I think that you hit it on the head. Your service/product is geared, built, and marketed toward yard owners. Individual scrappers would find very little benefit to the type of service that you are offering... ESPECIALLY at the price.
Only the yards would have the volume to benefit from shopping their materials across the country.

the most beneficial thing would probably be (atleast in my opinion):
-the spot market pricing on ferrous and non ferrous items (just for reference)
-a comparison of prices for each individual item at local competing yards... which can be done with a quick phone call.

I don't know how that would work out for your Bmodel though.

    respectfully.
