It was my fault for not checking on their exact prices but from everywhere I looked on line, #1 copper was going for 2.30 - 2.45 a pound, #2 copper 2.17 a pound, and brass for 1.60 - 1.50 a pound. upon getting my receipt i got
#1 copper - I had 15 pounds @ $1.90 a pound
#2 copper - I had 13 pounds @ &1.70 a pound
Yellow Brass - I had 50 pounds @ &0.85 a pound
Those prices look about right for your (our) area...especially if you went to a certain yard in Morristown...
