Welcome from Mesa Az. I am new to this site as well but over the past two months I have learned lots from videos and just reading threads. Any questions I have written were answered accurately. That's a good thing you are doing for the employees. So many employers don't think the same way. My father in law used to be a superintentent over a large union mechanical HVAC business that built sky scrapers. At the end of the week they would collect left over copper some that was 6 inches and better in diameter and sell it. I went with him a couple of times when he sold number one copper. The stuff was brand new clean. One time he had a truck bed load of it that paid $1750 bucks. Of course this was a few years back when prices were higher but the money was spent 100% on the employees in the form of after work get togethers at the local pub.

I have a guy that calls once a week and if I have any, he comes by and takes any/all compressors we have. I've read on the forums a bit and it looks like I could be selling them to someone! Lol. Kidding, he can have them. I hate messing with them.
I most likely don't have near the experience scrapping as most of you but I've never been one to throw away anything that could bring a few bucks.
Anyway, I hope to somehow contribute to the boards. There's some interesting topics that I've seen and I've already seen some things that I'd have never guessed there was a market for.
