    That's what I figured. I mainly buy used IT equipment in bulk through auctions and sell the pieces that have a market and make a decent profit. However, I do get a bunch of stuff that doesn't have very much demand so I have several 8 foot stacks of equipment that I am beginning to break down. I also post ads on craigslist for free electronic removal and have gotten a bunch of older (80s & 90s) desktop computers with those nice pinned CPU's. I will take everyone's advice and sit on the stuff I have. I wish there was a way to extract the ferrous metals at home that didn't involve using harsh chemicals.
