Welcome to SMF from the Buffalo Commons and Merry Christmas. At some yards, not all if you have non ferrous metal you go directly to that area and materials will be weighed on a floor scale. Ferrous metals are weighed on the truck scale. Some yards require you to weigh on the truck scale regardless and compare weights between the two scales for non ferrous. Each yard is different.
