Can you tell me what is the relation between this site and scrap monster and scrapex? Do I have to take membership in those sites as well as well as here?

No one is forcing you to become a member here and as far as the other sites, I have no idea as we're not affiliated with them.
A membership here entitles you to become a Buyer or Seller and enjoy the other perks available as a member. Things like "the scrap room" and different templates available to scrappers and more.
