Always look for more than scrap value items- parts and pieces that are sold can add up pretty quickly!

You'll be amazed what you can pick up with a car. I've gone on many pickups with an old LeSabre. I've had many clients tell me that "There's no way that'll fit in there" or "You need a truck!". They're all amazed at what you can pack in a car with careful planning. Why bring the large truck for a small load? The gas money you save is well worth it!

Craigslist is your friend

If I'm reading right and your a student then start reading in the electronics section and you'll open up a new section that's easier scrapping with a car. Ask my Taurus how many thousand pounds of electronics she's hauled. I once delivered around $800. worth of escrap to one of my buyers in my car. Of course, your mileage may vary(YMMV).

I'll even give you a start-up hint, your at a college, colleges have lots of computers and other escrap, cords, cables, etc..
Students go thru computers, laptops like I change socks. Start networking with others and you'll find the end of the rainbow. (escrap).
