    new here.

    Greetings everyone;

    I'm an engineering student at UCF , I'm doing some scrapping for extra money on the side, in the orlando / space coast area.
    I just wanted to say high to everyone, since this portion of the forum is here.
    I figured, what better way to save, on a few bucks per semester or so, per student loans, then collecting some scrap in my spare time, ect.
    I wish I had thought of this, before giving up my truck for a sentra, LULZ

    anyway, Cheers!

    We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

    Greetings from Wyoming!

    Always look for more than scrap value items- parts and pieces that are sold can add up pretty quickly!

    You'll be amazed what you can pick up with a car. I've gone on many pickups with an old LeSabre. I've had many clients tell me that "There's no way that'll fit in there" or "You need a truck!". They're all amazed at what you can pack in a car with careful planning. Why bring the large truck for a small load? The gas money you save is well worth it!

    I have collected a good bit of books, and furniture. Harry potter, and some end tables, that can be sold as garage sale items. Sadly enough, I waited until prices where at a real low in my area, to get started on metal scrapping.
    Have a good week.

    If I'm reading right and your a student then start reading in the electronics section and you'll open up a new section that's easier scrapping with a car. Ask my Taurus how many thousand pounds of electronics she's hauled. We tell you whats best to collect, how to break down, and where the money is at and we even have the good ewaste buyers for your goodies. http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/elect...ycling-forums/

    I once delivered around $800. worth of escrap to one of my buyers in my car. Of course, your mileage may vary(YMMV).

    I'll even give you a start-up hint, your at a college, colleges have lots of computers and other escrap, cords, cables, etc..
    Students go thru computers, laptops like I change socks. Start networking with others and you'll find the end of the rainbow. (escrap).
