    tdean, I'm just beginning at this myself. I've given too much away to our county which takes it for free not knowing the value of it before. I'm working on fixing that. Maybe we could all compare notes and work out cost-effective ways of getting our odd-lot stuff like your batteries to a recycler without being buried in costs.

    If you are going to give it to the county, I would gladly take it. LOL


    I live near utica and ship stuff out when I get enough or get tired of looking at it. Let me know if either of you want to chat.
    Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.

    We should do a centran ny chapter of scrappers lol. I still find it amazing how many scrappers are in central ny.
