    Well prices went down because gold went down and the newer computers use less gold. Think of computers and other electronics as gold mines.

    In the gold mining business some mines produce more gold per ton than others. When the price of gold goes up it makes the lower producing mines profitable because they produce enough to cover expenses plus make a profit.

    Its the same with electronics, when the price of gold went down the price of ewaste went down . Read Read Read.

    On this forum we don't discuss refining of the material there other forums that do a great job of that. Refining involves dangerous chemicals and demands proper educating in their use. Mike
