A "one-person" LLC will not prevent any competent lawyer from "piercing the veil" in case of an injury or damages claim. Depending on your state, with a commercial vehicle you will have more stringent laws (read: expensive) such as required safety equipment (triangles, fire extinguisher). A lot of repair places will have higher rates for commercial vehicles. Insurance - you need liability insurance NOW. Actually, I doubt your vehicle is insured if your company learns you are using it for any type of business (and they will when you make a claim. They will not pay off and that lawyer I mentioned will be coming after YOU and everything you own).
