    The very best advice is to read, read, read. Why read more because each thread you read will teach you things you didn't know you didn't know.
    Second best advise is hold your computer scrap until you read a lot more. Best of luck and where are you in NC, Mike.

    all I knew was to not let the yard have the rams and the cpus. everything else I researched was the yard would take it and give good price. I think I have to disagree. lol

    that 50 was everything but the rams, cpus and the tower housings. the housings I have thrown in a pile with all my other light weight tin scrap I have lyin around.

    If that was 50 for just 6 computers then you got a good price for the other parts.
