    I'm not too far from there myself. Mrs. Winners is not there anymore. You were a few blocks or less from the East Middle School. I was in that twister, I believe '97 it was, around this time too. It took us 15 minutes to get to VanderBuilt Hospital for my wife's son's dr's appointment, when the tornado hit. Then it took about 3+ hours to get home. I was in my 1975 Cadillac while the tornado hit. It didn't really shake my car, but across the street, it tore down a very big tree. After it was all said and done, trying to get home, I was told it was aa tornado that hit. It took me about 4 hours just to get to my son's school at the time, which was only 1/2 mile from where I lived (Main St & N. 7th St) Silverdene Apartments, which is no longer there.
