Thanks, I was thinking of this thread yesterday...
This is the Item I used. I tried a NZ brand version & it wasn't as good as the Palmolive brand.

A few of the gals came here looking for recycable materials for craft projects.

I have noticed laptops have a nice sheet of thick plastic with dimples on one side that could be made into a clipboard.

But what I have been thinking of is the thin plastic sheets they have. Some are white, some are prismatic/clear.

Then yesterday, while I was thinking about it. I saw a add for a childs windmills @ $4 each.
Then I relised the prismatic sheets, along with a shoe eyelet & a nail, will made a great prismatic windmill. or a bird scarer.....

Theres a few pics of 'Motherboard wall art' on the net. Prices vary @ about $250+

None of these pics are as good as what I have seen.

Basiclly what they did was use a broken Floresent backlit LCD TV & stuck 4 motherboards onto its face after removing the LCD panel.

The main thing was that motherboards were checked first with a backlight because with the back light you get to see the copper traces & the multi layers of the board etc.
A backlit motherboard of the right sort looks ten times better than the best looking motherboard.
