    The city also takes ABP plastic and will soon take #3, #4, #5 & #7 plastic. I know I have quite a few pounds of plastic each month...

    Interesting concept...I actually read an article a few years back about a family that did the same thing. At the end of the year they only had something like 5 pounds of refuse. From what I remember it was mainly rechargeable batteries that were no longer good.
