Pasco County, FL just passed a new ordinance on "restricted items" due to rise in metal theft.
I am expecting a big to do when I take in my hoard of coils and copper. Going to the yard in the morning to have a talk with the buyer to make sure I am able to comply,( I hate saying that!).
If it were not for thieves life would be so much better! People wonder why we jump all over stupid low down underhanded posts!
Edit; Forgot to mention, One subdivision has replaced all the street grates only to have them taken again one month later. Rent must have been due. Another subdivision had 14 AC units taken from empty homes. Luckily those guys got busted! They did create work but it was those two situations that broke the camels back and brought on the new ordinance.
