Just the way I deal I like to get a price locked in the day I ship it. I dont want the guess work of wondering what the market will do. Same reason I dont like places that want you to ship them the stuff before they will give you a price. If it goes up by the time it gets there then its more profit for them. if it goes down by the timeit gets there then its less. But as victor said your buisness plan shouldnt be based on a 10 percent swing. Example the 140 pounds of boards I just baught I paid the same as I did 3 weeks ago $2.50 per pound. After shipping it comes to about $3.50 a pound. AT current prices I will only make 50 to 60 cents a pound instead of the $1 a pound I made last time but I kept my seller happy. Im just small time and dont do this as primary income so to each their own. But i would hate to find a price expecting to get x ammount of dollars then it drops to where I break even or make hardly no money. That would stink as a small time scrapper.
