I've been after an auto body repair shop on my route of travel for over a year. I kept stopping every month and visit with the owner a few minutes. He'd sell me a few batteries every three or four months, but kept saying someone else he knew had been getting the metal scrap for years. Today, he asks me if I'm interested ( ???) in the metal, too. The other guy's truck apparently broke down and he doesn't have the money to fix it. Amounts to a good-size trailer load every two weeks (every week during winter).

The economy must be picking up. The other places on the route had more than usual for the past six months or so. Either that or people are getting stuff repaired (I focus on auto repair shops) that just breaks down and wont go any further.

September is starting out good.
