    aluminum foil

    this may sound dumd but at my job they through foil like its candy. Can you scraoe that after all it is aluminum and that could be money in the bank

    Nope. You got it bass-ackwards.

    At one time, tin foil might've been tin, but today it's generally a misnomer. Tin foil is not tin, it's aluminum:

    Mine does. It is aluminum indeed, but it is the lowest paying grade aluminum there is, other than alum/steel breakage. Call and see. It take's quite a bit of it to make any real weight, but if it's clean and you can get it in quantity for free at a place you are already going to be anyway, go for it.

    While we are on the subject, what catagory does alum pie tins fall under, same as cans?

    Depends where you take it. I've been told they are foil, I've been told they are cans, I've been told they are sheet...by 3 different yards. The one I use now takes them as clean sheet.

    Yard by me takes pie tins as alum cans but then seperates them out? As for alum foil you can mix it in with your cans as long as you don't have too much...
