Looking for metal recycling specialist (aka scrapper) in the north Fort Worth area.

I mostly work the south Fort Worth area, but lately have received several calls from my craigslist ad from the north Fort Worth area I have declined due to the distance (I live about 45 minutes south of Ft Worth). I am looking for someone on the forum who might pick up in that area that I could refer anyone who calls me to them.

It is admirable that you are willing to share your contacts, resources, and business. Have you thought about telling people when you have enough business in the area, you will make the trip. For this part of the country, that distance is a drop in the bucket. But then again, we do not deal with the traffic you do. My brother lives in Denver and I would rather travel 100 miles here than 10 miles in Denver. Anyway, collaborating several accounts in the area might be worth the trip. You know your business better than I do, it is just a thought. Regardless I respect your desire to share with other members of the forum.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Waiting until I have enough is a possible option, but the majority of the folks usually have busted appliances, and want them out of the way within the next day or so, and won't wait. When shred was around $260 a ton, I would have made the trip, but since it is quite a bit lower I would rather pass it off to someone in the forum.
