I'm not too worried about it. My prices change with what I can get for material, just like a scrap yard's. Sure it was nice getting $4/lb for motherboards taken out of computers and whatnot, but with buying boards outright my margin is still the same now as then. If values drop enough to not be able to ship anything, there has to be a backup plan. Local buyer, or think bigger. You might have to sit on material awhile to sell in huge lots, but then again it's a lot cheaper to buy it.

Prices per pound for computers could just drop down to local shred prices, or less. If the value of boards drops enough they could become more of a nuisance to people than anything else. You can't just throw them in with metal most of the time, and there is labor involved with dismantling.

Also gold is an indicator of the dollars strength. the stronger the dollar the lower commodities get. Gas is down corn gold is down too. You should be able to buy more with your $'s now.
