I talked with a shop recently because I have a couple of small motors from mowers to see if they were interested in buying for parts. Turns out they didn't even want to see them before saying "no"... didn't offend me because there are a couple of other shops in the area (& some "off the radar" shops") who might be. I just thought selling for parts might net more than selling for scrap (& I still have the frames, etc. to throw in shred). These were older and well used (abused?) so maybe nothing there past scrap, but reduce REUSE recycle .... when feasible
