    Question Fast food places...remodeling....

Hey guys & gals!!!! I haven't been around again much...WHY???? Tooooo busy. When I get on this forum I can't stop reading! I am going to post an update in Day in the Life of a Scrapper..

    Anyhow...questions.

We have done a few fast food places and a Lowes, getting all the metal free when they remodel. I would like to contact Corporate of these places and get them to tell their contracts to call us when in our range and we agree w/Corporate to remove all recyclables. Anyone have a clue the title of the person I would want to contact at Corporate?

Also, how about title at places like Lowe's?

OR...how do we find these better than just running across when out??

You all have come up with great stuff and I have learned so much from all of you...someone has attempted this before. I must be putting the wrong search parameters for my research on the forum.

SO MUCH IS GOING ON WITH US! I LOVE SCRAPPING AND YOU ALL!

I'd say your jobsite superintindant would be the best to ask. Lots of chain stores use the same contractors on all their sites

Glad things going well for ya Ixcel. An I agree with bear on the superintendent.

    An we love you to.

Sirscrapalot - I baffled my grocery clerk today by asking if I should leave the 10 item or less line with my dozen eggs, and 12 pack of beer.

I happened to be working at a McD's once upon a time when they did a remodel. I got about 200lbs of *functional* stainless carts free, and another 100lbs of stainless scrap. Get to talking to the store manager, and find out that the district guy was going to keep the scrap, but after messing with 1/3 of it he was no longer interested. I take all the rest the next day, spend a good 8 hours breaking it down, and sold about $220 in Al the next morning. Kicked the manager back about $30 in appreciation
