i have brought a few select parts from a computer and cell phone to a scrap gold dealer and they told me this is not gold..what's with all the hype and is it even worth it?
It's because the gold is not in a form that they can use, (buy-sell) like Mike said it takes large quantities to make money. Or if you have a steady supply of ewaste coming in you might just want to sell to an escrapper instead of breaking down.
Does all computers and cell phones have gold in them and where and how do you recover it,
The where we deal with quite a bit but the how we try to leave that to the pro's OR you could hurt yourself badly.
