Seems like you did great to me. Where I am insulated copper is $1.70 Alum. is $.40 and motors are $.25 so for your load I would have got $17 for the copper $6 for the alum. and $6.25 for the motors. So whats that $29.25

Ive been kind of hoarding my scrap so I don't really know how picky my yard is..... Should i separate my copper such as the yokes that have a little bit of glue/tar from the cleaner yokes, or are the yards even picky about that?

Break your yokes down and get the clean #2 price for it, a lot better than .25 a lb.
Then all the ferrite can go in the steel bucket.
