If you had a recovery unit, recovery tank, and an EPA card the used refrigerant can also be sold to wholesale houses. A better bet is to hook up with a dealer. They will clean the refrigerant and reuse it. There cost on a 30# tank is about 350$ dollars from wholesale house. Probably could get 100$ for 30# of used R-22.
