what 93 ranger do you have ? It could be a 3/4 ton. My 93 is a 3/4. I have a Ford shop manual CD, if you'll get your numbers off the door I'll tell you the specs on it. There's a row of numbers along the bottom, GVW, trans, axle, etc, tell me what each one of those says, and I can tell you what each one of them is

Its a 93xl I am not sure what the specs are because the door sticker is missing. Im not sure if it was hit or had doors replaced before i bought it. I have only had the truck for a little over a month. I know its atleast a half ton for sure I am gonna try to put up a picture of both trucks.

is it a 4x4 with a tow package on it? looks a lot like mine there

its a 2x4 and has the trailer harness except the ball is on the bumper.

I'm sure yours is the long wheelbase (125" center to center) and there's 3 possibilities for the 2x (2) of em are 1240 payload, (1) is a 1550 lb payload. It's not a 114" Wheelbase is it?

$200 dollars a ton for tin, shred, sheet iron (what ever you want to call it). That is a good price.

You grab a tape measure and measure from the center of one wheel to the center of the other.



Good haul you got. Was wondering what you've been up to. Haven't seen you around much.

Got a call to come get an oil tank. I asked if it was empty, She said yes, but the person she called before me said it was too heavy. So by that I figured it had some, but took a look anyways. Yep. Half full on what I guess is a 200 gallon tank at least.

It should be a treat and a half to get out.

Dunno if oil dealers buy back oil. About to find out come Monday.

well over the winter i got a job for a landscaper as a truck and equip mechanic. that ended as the owner is down on his luck right now so im back to scrapping. and thanks for the info. ill measure it in the morning and report back

If you have an electric pump it will suck the oil right out, and perhaps you could sell it on craigslist for cheap? i know its the wrong season to sell heating oil though.

I tossed it on CL last night. No bites as of yet. I'll post under farm/garden to see if a farmer wants it. Pretty certain it's kerosene. Don't know what kerosene is worth around here.

I'm guessing the farmer had a gauge that showed how much he pumped out? I'm totally guessing here as far as tank size and remaining gallons, though really anything made would be "profit".

Dont worry about it buddy, Its good you figured out what to do with your oil.

Actually the 114 and the 125 WB both had the same on the low side of 1250lb payload, I think the 125 with the heavy tow package was a bit more than the 114, 1550/1650 . Payload = anything besides the from factory truck + full tank of gas ( I think they figure the weight of a full tank included) but everything else (including the driver, the owner manual, gloves in the glovebox etc, are all included in "payload")

Ohh that's just it...I haven't figured out what to do with it yet.
