I posted my first Craigslist add last night for scrap removal, This morning I got a call from a roofer who had allot of steel to get rid of. At first he said that he was 25 minutes away so I kinda was shying away from it. But then he said there was another scrapyard nearby. So I figured i didn't have anything else to do today so i went to go see. Well the roof was on top of a super Walmart I was in my '93 Ranger and they were 10 foot pieces along with some smaller bits. So I left the tailgate down and filled it up and took my first load over. it was 920 pounds and at .10 i made 92. when i got back they said they still had allot more to go so i called my dad and had him come over in the '87 Chevy which has an 8 foot bed. So I loaded my truck and we filled his with what was left. On the next load my truck had 1200 in it and my dads had 800. so for the day I got $292 and a contact with a roofer so i gave him my
business card and hopefully i can get some more business from him.
Also that was the most weight i had ever put in the ranger and was very impressed with what it could handle.
Here is my Craigslist add if anyone is curious
