I am about 2 hour away also. I have done a lot of servers of that type. The selling price seemed a bit high for me. I am sure who ever bought them, bought them to re-purpose them and not as scrap. I did 5 of the Proliant 3000 servers today and the scrap value just is not there for me. I am sure there are many people who know tons more than I do about getting people who pay more for boards and such.
There may a million better places to live than Iowa, but none of them are home!

check the bid history. I believe that s***a was a shill bidder, or maybe their own automated one? NO serious bidder EVER bids one dollar UNDER the next "hump", ONE dollar OVER it is one who's there to win, never one dollar under it! ($501, yes, but $499, Never) I truly believe that bidder had insider info of their "opponents" high bid
