    Yes you were right. I started by doing a process of elimination of the gold layer and ended up with a very thin copper layer. That does make sense though, how could one put soft gold traces on a board without a sound base metal.
    I think I may try gold recovery on this one myself. Researching Gold recover is how I found this forum from the start.
    All because, after all these years I stripped out and old AST Advantage piece of sh1t and it had an original P75 dual gold cap in it.

    Also look into getting the copper recovered to that's where the real money is.
