Not sure exactly what they call them but I'm just not sure of what level, maybe a mid-grade. This buy lists them as peripheral;
The Peripheral board category is for boards that do not qualify for motherboard grade, but are better than midgrade.
This includes but is not limited to such boards as DVD/CD-ROM ( CD/DVD board description), Printer boards, higher quality telephone board and cable/dvr board.
