Yeah my yard is the same. I cut the cord throw rest in shred. i figure I get more for whole vauum as shred as I would if I tore the motor out and ook out the copper. Now the real funny part is I see other scrapper with the vacuums taking axes to them and leaving the shred pile with just the plastic. SO they are getting 12 cents apound for vacuum carcasses.
